New Image Body and Paint was founded by Demetrio (Metro) V. Foti in September 1997. Demetrio has always had a love for cars; he began doing collision repair at sixteen and was a refinish technician at twenty. His career as a refinish technician took off when he worked with The Du Pont Company Automotive Refinish Division to create the Chroma Base Automotive Refinish System. Demetrio’s success as a refinish technician continued when he won the Top Gun Competition in 1995 and 1996, which were the last two years before the competition ended. In 1997 Demetrio started his own business because of his passion for auto collision repair and his dedication to customer satisfaction. Since opening his own automotive collision shop he has been a non-structure technician, structure technician, refinish technician, and estimator. Although he is no longer working as an automotive collision technician, he works closely with the customers as an estimator and monitors their vehicle during the repair process to ensure customer satisfaction.
